After rigorous fire testing, Mataverde® Cumaru hardwood decking and siding has exceeded the requirements for a Class A fire rating. Recent test results for Mataverde Cumaru decking and siding confirm that this beautiful and durable exterior decking and siding material is a “Class A” Fire rated hardwood building material. Mataverde Cumaru hardwood met the requirements for a “Class A” flame spread and smoke according to all the criteria of ASTM E84-10 testing, "Standard Method of Test for Surface Burning Characteristics of Building Materials".
